4th of July Parade canceled for 2020
We are living in an interesting time in our world. Social distancing, stay-at-home orders, so much we are dealing with. With all this uncertainty, the Acton-Agua Dulce Chamber of Commerce has discussed and has regrettably decided to cancel this years July 4th parade. The health and safety of our communities, not only Acton, but the surrounding communities, is our priority. We all know that the parade brings in hundreds of people from all over, we feel that bringing so many people together will not help our current situation. According to the States’ guidelines to re-open California, large gatherings will not be allowed until Phase 4 which a date has not been established. We know there are mixed feelings about the Covid-19 situation, and that there are people that will not like this decision while others will agree with it. Please know that this has not been an easy decision for us but hopefully you will all understand.
